Some are especially important if you are creating content for the website, others are just plain useful or amazing. A CD with these programs is also available from Rod Grant or Pete Mckenzie if you have trouble downloading them.

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader is an essential program for reading preformatted files that will look the same on any system that they are viewed on.

Google Earth is an amazing program that lets you view 3d satellite pictures of the entire world. Needs broadband connection.

 

 

  • For the size of the program Picasa does on awful lot when it comes to managing, editing and using your digital pictures. It is essential for anyone posting pictures to the website.
